  • Acoustimeter – a portable electronic device for measuring noise levels; there is a model of a RF meter called an Acoustimeter that gives information by sound, LED light and LCD text display.
  • Dirty Electricity – instead of the standard 60 Hertz AC electricity, our electrical systems have become increasingly contaminated with invisible micro-surges of dangerous high frequency energy. Much of this dirty electricity is from electronic devices that use electricity in short pulses as opposed to a continuous flow, creating high frequency noise on our electrical circuits.
  • EHS – Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity; experiencing recurring stress or illness when near electromagnetic fields.
  • Electropollution – aka Toxic EMF and electromagnetic smog; EMF that have adverse effects.
  • EMF - electromagnetic field(s).
  • Leaky gut – increased intestinal permeability.
  • LLLT - Low Level Laser Therapy; aka cold laser; a form of light therapy using laser light to stimulate healing.
  • RF - radio frequency; EMF suitable for wireless technology including cell towers, cell phones, cordless phones, Wi-Fi, baby monitors, and smart meters.
  • Toxic EMF – aka electropollution and electromagnetic smog; EMF present in the environment that has adverse effects.
  • Peak hold - The peak signal level for a frequency component is held for display.
  • V/m - The standard unit of electric field strength is the volt per meter. It is used as a means of specifying the intensity of the EMF produced by equipment that emits RF energy.
